I hope you had a great summer and enjoyed all those warm sunny days. We are starting a new year with new classes and new teachers... so I decided to add NEW features to The Weather Machine! It's going to be more exciting and bring more weather into the schools than ever before! Plus, we listened to your feedback from last year and now there's 2 ways to win and you can even earn Extra Credit just for sharing your weather projects with us on Daybreak.

2 Ways 2 Win! The school with the most votes will automatically win a visit from The Weather Machine. The remaining Top 19 schools will be entered into the 2nd chance drawing. The higher your school ranks in the voting, the more 2nd chance entries you receive. Schools can earn more entries by doing Extra Credit.

	Here’s How to Vote Watch Daybreak each morning at 5:20am & 6:20am for Weather Machine Word of the day. Go to WGRZ.com and use the word to vote for your school. Voting is open to everyone and you may vote each day as often as you like.

	Earn Extra Credit: Share Photos, Artwork or Video! This year we will reward schools who make an extra effort by allowing them to earn additional entries for the 2nd chance drawing. Teachers may submit photos and videos of weather projects and signs here on the website Artwork can be dropped off at the station or via postal mail to Channel 2.
